Monitoring Student Progress

Ed2go provides tools and resources that will allow you to see what your students have done in their courses, whether that is a short six week course or a full Advanced Career Training Program (formerly known as CTP's).

Fundamental Courses (Formerly known as ILC's) Progress

For the Fundamental courses, which are the short six week courses, we provide many ways to access student progress. The best way is listed here. You can find a specific course or session to review all of the students within that course or session, or you can find a report for just one specific student.

To review a student, course or session, please log in to your Online Administration Center (OAC) at http://admin.ed2go.com You will see eight tabs across the top of the screen when you are on the short course OAC. When you click on the "Tracking" tab, you will see a list of blue headings. Each heading is a hyperlink that will open a new tool for you.

In the list, you can click on the "Manage & Enroll Students" tool. You can review the full list of enrollments, use the search bar across the top of the page to find a specific student, or use the fields on the left of the page to set parameters to retrieve the information for all students in a specific course or session.

To open a student's account, you can click anywhere in the enrollment record box. Once the student account page opens, you can then click on the blue course title at the bottom of the page. The first page that appears will be the "Course Activity" tab. This is the date that the student has logged in and how much time the student spent on the course.

The "Assessment" tab will allow you to see a list of quizzes and exams, the number of times that quiz or exam was attempted and the grades that have been earned.

The "Action History" tab will allow you to review all of the changes that have been made to the student's account. This will include when the student was registered, when the student received the access notification and other notifications that were sent to the student.

Advanced Career Training Program (Formerly Known as CTP's) Progress

For the Advanced Career Training Programs (ACTs), students can register and begin at any time. There are no set sessions. You can access a specific student's progress at any time.

To review a student, please log in to your Online Administration Center (OAC) at http://admin.ed2go.com You will see four tabs across the top of the screen when you are on the Advanced Career Training Program OAC. When you click on the "Students" tab, you will see a list of every student's enrollment. You can use the search bar across the top of the page to find a specific student or course, or you can review the list of enrollments.

To open a student's account, you can click anywhere in the enrollment record box. Once the student account page opens, you can then click on the blue course title  at the bottom of the page. The first page that appears will be the "Course Activity". This is the date that the student has logged in and how much time the student spent on the course. This is the information populated from the students use of the time tracker.

The "Action History" tab will allow you to review all of the changes that have been made to the student's account. This will include when the student was registered, when the student received the access notification and other notifications that were sent to the student. In the near future, the "Assessment" tab will allow you to see a list of assignments, the number of times that assignment was completed and grades that have been earned.

Detailed Progress Reports

In some cases you may need a more detailed progress report for a student. A progress report for each Advanced Career Training Program that a student is enrolled in will contain a list of the student's progress in the program to date, along with any grades that may have been earned. Formats of these reports may differ from one program to another. These can be obtained by emailing the request to studentreports@cengage.com
