Fundamentals ILC Course & Session Transfers

ed2go offers partners the flexibility to approve course and session transfers within our policy, at your school's discretion. Review the below scenarios to learn about the approval process.


Transfer to a new session of the same course

Policy – Students can transfer to a new session of the same course a maximum of twice as long as the original start date is within six months of the new start date, and they have not completed their course. Students enrolled in a Fundamental (formerly known as ILC's) bundle can transfer within one year of the original session start date of the first course in the bundle, a maximum of twice, per course.

Procedure – Submit a transfer request using the Drop/Transfer Request Form. Go to: admin.ed2go.com > Tracking > Drop/Transfer Request Form. Complete the form and choose the Action "Transfer". You will receive a confirmation email when the form is submitted and once processed, you will be notified via email. Please allow 24 business hours. Payment method is irrelevant to the session transfer process but does refer to if the student paid ed2go directly or paid you the partner.

*If student is transferring multiple courses within a bundle you can list each course of the bundle in the comment box.
Example:  Introduction to XXX  transfer to January Session
                 Intermediate XXX transfer to March Session

 

Transfer to a different course

Unfortunately, we are unable to transfer funds from one course to another.  We can only complete a transfer if a student is moving from one start date to another for the same exact course.  The student will need to be dropped and refunded from the incorrect course and then re-enroll in the desired course.  Please know that this is a process that we are looking at improving as we see the value of being able to transfer students between courses.

Policy – Students can be dropped so they can enroll in a new course as long as the original start date is within six months of the new start date, and the student has not completed the course.

Procedure – The original enrollment would be dropped, and fully refunded. The student would need to enroll in the correct course. The student may enroll in the correct course at any time.

If the student paid your institution directly, we would drop the enrollment for the old course, and ask the student to enroll in the new course. The drop can be initiated in the Online Administration Center. Please go to:
admin.ed2go.com>Tracking>Manage and Enroll Students, select the appropriate enrollment record, and click in the empty box on the far left of the record. Next, click the "Drop" button, located at the top and follow the prompts.

If the student paid ed2go directly their status would be “Verified” and “ed2go collected” or “O.” In that case submit a drop request using the Drop/Transfer Request Form. Go to: admin.ed2go.com > Tracking > Drop/Transfer Request Form. You will receive a confirmation email when the form is submitted and once processed, you will be notified via email. Please allow 24 business hours. Since the student paid online, we will refund the student for the first enrollment. Their credit card will be refunded in 3-7 business days.


TIP: Students who chose to pay your institution directly would have an enrollment status of “Verified”,  “Partner Collected”, or “V”. Students who chose to pay ed2go directly would have an enrollment status of “Verified”, “ed2go collected”, or “O.”
