Course & Program Transfer Overview
Policy and procedure vary for course and program transfers based on various criteria, such as product type (Fundamentals vs. Advanced Career Training) and transfer type. You'll find everything you need to know to help your student with a transfer, below.
Fundamental Courses (6-week access & Self-paced)
Transfer to a new session for the same coursePolicy – Students can transfer to a new session of the same course a maximum of twice, as long as the enrollment occurred in the last six months and they have not completed their course. Students enrolled in a Fundamentals bundle can transfer any course within the bundle to a new session within one year of the original session start date of the first course in the bundle, a maximum of two times per course.
Procedure – Submit a transfer using the Drop/Transfer Request Form. Go to: admin.ed2go.com > Tracking > Drop/Transfer Request Form. Complete the form and choose the Action: Transfer. You can add the new session in the comments field, if it is not available in the "New Session" field. Once processed you will be notified by email. Please allow 24 business hours.
NOTE: any work the student completes will not transfer to the new session.
Policy – Students can transfer to a new course as long as the enrollment occurred in the last six months and the student has not completed the course.
Transfer to a different course
Procedure – The original enrollment will need to be dropped, and the student will need to re-enroll in the correct course. The student may enroll in the correct course at any time. If the student was verified by you, you can drop a student enrollment yourself. Go to: admin.ed2go.com>Tracking>Manage and Enroll. This will be noted by statuses 'Verified', 'Partner Collected', or 'V'.
If the student paid ed2go directly their status would be “Verified” and “ed2go collected” or “O.” In that case submit a drop request using the Drop/Transfer Request Form. Go to: admin.ed2go.com > Tracking > Drop/Transfer Request Form. Once processed you will be notified via email. Please allow 24 business hours. Since the student paid online, we will refund the student for the first enrollment. Their credit card will be refunded in 3-7 business days.
Policy – Transfers are available on a case-by-case basis. A $125 administration fee may apply.
Advanced Career Training Programs (Formerly Known as CTP's) - 3-18 month access
Procedure – Please contact us with a detailed explanation of the issue, along with the new program title. Please keep in mind that there are material, facilitator and vendor fees associated with each program that the student may be responsible for, as well as any differences in tuition.
